Family Weekend is a busy time, so much to see, so much to do, and of course you want to find plenty of time to catch up with your student. Here are a few programs that might just fit the bill:

Reynolda House Museum of American Art
Reynolda House welcomes WFU families to spend the afternoon at the museum using a new app called Reynolda Revealed (free on Google Play and the App Store), and explore the Museum’s featured exhibition, Dorothea Lange’s America. If you haven’t purchased tickets but would still like to visit the museum, tickets may be purchased at the Museum.

Student A Capella Concert
A variety of talented A Cappella and Choir groups on campus perform samples of some of their greatest songs. This popular campus tradition begins at 8 PM on 9/28, in Wait Chapel.

Midwest Dueling Pianos
Looking for something fun to do after the game? Drop by the Magnolia Room in Reynolda Hall at 9 PM on Saturday for a “one-of-a-kind music and comedy piano show that spans generations and keeps audience members of all ages singing, cheering, dancing, and laughing”!

Campus Museums: Museum of Anthropology and START Gallery
The Museum of Anthropology is North Carolina’s only museum dedicated to the study of global cultures. It’s located near Kentner Stadium and WFDD and will be open 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM on Friday and Saturday.
START Gallery is a “unique experiential learning laboratory” that gives student artists a chance to display their art to the public and learn more about the world of art galleries and professional art. Located in Reynolda Village, it will be open 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.

Family Fitness Classes: Campus Recreation will offer Pilates on Friday and Yoga on Saturday. Both classes will be offered in the new Wake Forest Wellbeing Center.
