As you arrive on campus then head out for Game Day, here are some parking and transportation things to know:
Parking on Campus during the weekend:
Friday, 11/1: Families are welcome to park in any of the general lots. Overflow parking will be available across Polo Road on Long Street in the church parking lot. Shuttle transportation from the lot will be available. See below for campus transportation options.
Saturday – Sunday 11/2-3: Families are free to park anywhere on campus not marked as “reserved”.
Parking in the Stadium Area on Saturday:
Families planning to drive should park in the LJVM coliseum lot. The parking fee is $20.
Accesssible parking for both the game and the Cookout will be in the David F. Couch Ballpark parking lot. Shuttles with lifts are available for transport to BB&T Field both prior to and after the game. Friday Campus Shuttles for Families:
A dedicated Wake Forest shuttle bus will run from 9 AM to 7 PM around campus on Friday, November 1 to help families get around. Shuttle will run continuously and will stop in these locations:
- Front of Benson University Center (Lot C)
- Front of South Residence Hall (Lot J)
- Front of Kitchin Residence Hall (Lot N)
- Long Street Parking Lot
- Behind Wait Chapel, next to Taylor Residence Hall (Lot A)
Game Day Shuttles
To the Game Day Cookout (Couch Baseball Park):
Beginning at 9:30 AM, there will be a special shuttle running between the front of the Benson Center and the David F. Couch Baseball Park, for families with tickets to the Game Day Cookout. This shuttle will not run after the game.
To the Stadium area:
The university will offer free shuttle buses running from campus to the stadium, beginning at 8 AM and continuing from half-time to 2 hours post-game. This shuttle is free to all students and families, and runs from parking lot P, behind Wait Chapel and Huffman residence halls to 32nd Street, near BB&T Field, leaving only a short walk across Shorefair Drive to reach the stadium area. After the game, return to the same location on 32nd Street to travel back to campus.
