Friday, October 7

Welcome to Campus

Family Weekend Welcome and Check in begins in the Benson University Center at 10:00am and continues until 7:00pm.

Activity Block One: 11:00am – 1:00pm

The weekend begins with tours, workshops and presentations throughout campus. Knowing that time flies when you are having fun, this year we have removed the pre-registration requirement for tours and workshops. This should allow families to “go with the flow” and enjoy experiences without the need to rush to the next obligation. Spacing is still limited, and tour groups will be taken on a first come-first serve basis. Planning is underway, so check back frequently to keep up with developments!

At lunchtime, families can check out one of our campus dining locations or explore areas near campus (Winston Salem has some great restaurants!)

Activity Block Two: 1:00-3:00pm

Tours, workshops and presentations continue.

The Deacon Family Festival will begin at 1:00 on Manchester Plaza and continue until 4:00pm with games, inflatables and craft activities.

Activity Block Three: 3:00-5:00pm

Tours, workshops and presentations continue.

Activity Block Four: 5:00-8:00pm

Join us for the Backyard Barbeque and More social on Manchester Plaza. There are three seating times for this meal and tickets will be available for purchase when you register.

An Evening of Student Entertainment will begin at 6:00pm and continue until 8:00pm.

Student Union Presents Family Movie Night: 8:00pm

Game Day!

Kick off time for Wake Forest vs. Army should be announced about 10 days prior to game day. Get your tickets at godeacs.com!
