A Northwest NC tradition since 1897, the Carolina Classic Fair is an agricultural fair featuring thrilling rides, endless exhibits of local crafts, massive vegetables, cooking competitions, and chances to visit with cows, horses and chickens! Above all, you will find every food you can imagine, dipped in batter and fried to perfection. The Fair will be taking place the entire weekend at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds, just across from Truist Field!
Pro tip: Many local civic organizations use the fair for fundraising, and you will find amongst the brick stalls some of the most authentic southern food around (think pintos, cornbread, and Moravian Chicken Pie)!
